Wow Grievous for $30. I'm not crazy about the Grievous but is he worth it for the parts?

i wasnt crazy about grievous, but i bought him back when he was on sale for $45, and liked him so much i bought two, and he's now my favorite lego model. I bought a 3rd since it was only $30. I'd say it's worth it for parts. A lot of the parts are just for his stand, and you can use that stand for any models you make.

I have Grievous as well, and although I'm rather partial to the character, I really enjoyed the build and don't get why it seems to be so maligned. And I'm telling you, that thing looks siiiick up in my display area with all 4 arms posed in a fighting position. I'm seriously debating picking up another one of these at such a sweet deal.

it does look pretty badass. I bought one for my fireplace mantel, and it looked pretty menacing. I got two so i could set them up with one on the right, one on the left, looking down like evil gargoyles. everyone likes gargoyles

did you guys all pick up a cape from the guy P.C. on the old forum? (not sure if he's here too) his wife made a super sweeeet one and was selling them for awhile. the set isn't complete until you have one of those on it.
