Has the rebel pilot just got a plain white helmet, no decals?

I wish that last figure had white or standard green hands. I hate swapping hands but the ones it comes with wouldn't work well for the obvious alternate use for that torso.

Hmmm... I don't have many Star Wars Legos as it is, so I might get this one. Still debating it, though. I do agree that the last character is the best.

The figs other than the last, are not amazing, although several of them aren't bad as duplicates. However, the minis are fun. Typically Lego Advent calendars are never that amazing. Realistically, there is only so much fun a kid can have with a few bricks. However, kids love the expectation and surprise of what they are going to get. That's what makes them fun. I think the mini spaceships have a lot more play potential than many things we've gotten in past calendars. I'm going to encourage my boys to build duplicates of a few of them from their own bricks to make mini fleets.

I would urge anyone interested in this set to sweep it up quick when it hits the shelves in October. Lego Advent calendars have sold out fast in recent years. I predict this one will be hard to find after Halloween.

Day four in particular looks like the perfect mini to make from all the spare pieces we get in every set. Now if I could only find a use for all those black pins...

I am super-stoked about the micro models! There are a few nice figs, but it is kind of an odd assortment. Seems like a great product, though, so hopefully I can land one come October. Quick question, though:

Spoiler: show
What is that brown thing next to Nute Gunray? And what is that oddly-shaped thing to the left of the Y-wing?

Are these going to be available at retail stores like TRU, Target, etc.? Or are they only available at Lego Stores...?

And without spoiling anything, do we know yet if ALL figures pictured are re-issues, or are supposed to be other characters? I ask because I was suspicious this might just be a prototype photo, and things were subject to change.

And finally, is anybody NOT looking at the photo????!

thanks,
brant

Is that the official order as well, or do you open the wookie on lifeday?

In Response to MrCRSkater's question,
Spoiler: show
I believe the brown thing is a (very crappy) MTT. Come on, that hologram spider thing is way too obscure and worthless as a play toy for kids. Even more obscure than the red Republic Cruiser.

I don't think its too obscure. It has enough screen time to get a good look at it, and for me to recognize it, especially since its been 6 years since I last saw Episode I. Plus, it doesn't look like anything else.

Pretty much how I feel. I wouldn't buy this for myself, but my 3-year-old will love it each day. And he'll be extremely delighted on Christmas Eve.

Y-wing, and imperial shuttle looks good, but why are smaller than x-wing. micro ships should have the same scale I think :|

Extremely random assortment of characters. An exclusive figure or two (from the movies) would make this a must-buy - a bit like the DK books. Not too fussed about having anyone dressed up as Santa.
