I was writing up this whole post about how Walmart has their The LEGO Movie exclusive set, 70811 The Flying Flusher, discounted by about 30% for just $20.99 thinking it was a great deal until I checked LEGO Shop@Home for a usable image. Once I got there, I noticed that they, too, are selling the set at a discount, but at an even better price. It’s 40% off at $17.98. LEGO Shop@Home offers free shipping at $75, whereas Walmart’s free shipping starts at $50. You can get the same price in store for both vendors, and Walmart even offers a buy online and pick up in store option as well.
And I’m pretty sure we’ve reported that price on the Flying Flusher before as part of LEGO Shop@Home’s “Winter Sale.” So, yeah, I’m not really bringing much value to this post.
