Mark your calendars because it’s back by popular demand! Toys’R’Us stores will once again be hosting The LEGO Movie building event where you can build Emmet’s Car and “transform it into something awesome.” The event is scheduled to return on Saturday April 12, 2014 from 12pm to 2pm or until supplies last. Did you go to the first building event? I never made it but I heard that the crowds at each store were beyond anything they’ve seen before and that it was generally perceived as a giganto failure. Hence, the event’s return to try and make things right. Gotta say, I’m impressed that TRU is willing to try this again to smooth things over with their customers. I might try and go to this one and bring the kids along but if I see a line out the door before noon, I’m Audi 5000.
