UCS Snowspeeder 20% off at Walmart, along with more Star Wars, Super Heroes, Jurassic World

Update 7/3: There’s a ton of LEGO Star Wars sets on sale. And by ton I mean most of them. And instead of linking every set here, I’m going to dial it in and put a generic link for LEGO Star Wars on sale at Walmart. There are a lot on sale that arent’ tagged as a “Rollback”, so browse the list. No doubt they are clearing the way for the fall assortments.

In our post about the Spider-man ATM Heist being on sale, reader Chris Wight pointed out that there’s even more on sales going on right now… not the least of which is the UCS Snowspeeder sporting a healthy 20% discount. As of right now, Amazon hasn’t matched some of these, but have some sets of their own discounted as well. A bunch of Star Wars sets are in the mix, as well as as a few Super Heroes sets (like the ludicrously overpriced Red Hulk set).

Toy Fair Coverage 2018: All Of The Videos

So, something happened with my Kessel Run Millennium Falcon video. It showed the fully fleshed out interior and more importantly, spoiler alert, the front escape pod that sits between the two mandibles. It slides out and has a small cockpit and thrusters in the back. And in case you were wondering, they only had the ship there, not even the minifigs that came with it. Ah well.

But the good news is I have some other videos of some of the new sets below. Take a look:

  • Toy Fair Coverage 2018: Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom (More Sets)

Toy Fair Coverage 2018: Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom (More Sets)

Some more detail shots of the Jurassic World sets. Unfortunately, 75927 Stygimoloch Breakout looks a lot like a reskin of the fence-playset from the original Jurassic World run, which wasn’t exactly thrilling.

Next up, we get the obligatory not-quite-a-t-rex set, 75929 Carnotaurus Gyrosphere Escape. Basically, this set is what we see through most of the trailer. Still, $79.99 seems like an unusually good price point for everything that looks to be pictured here.

Last up, helicopter, etc. Surprisingly economical at the price point.

LEGO Reveals Some Jurassic World Sets

Update: Forgot to include the official press release. It’s posted at the bottom. Two things I gleaned from the press release are that there will be a Walmart-exclusive BrickHeadz set, and both TRU and Walmart will get retailer-exclusive sets.

    Bring on the DUPLO dinosaurs!

Three product reveals across three different age groups were shared by LEGO today for the upcoming Jurassic World release: 75928 Blue’s Helicopter Pursuit for System, 10758 T. rex Breakout for Juniors, and 10880 T. rex Tower for DUPLO.  I would consider this a spoiler-free post, but based on the DUPLO set, if Owen isn’t riding the back of a T-rex in the movie, I’m going to be disappointed.

Pictures and pricing below. All Jurassic World LEGO sets have a street date of April 16th, 2018.
