…The MOC’s are just getting started. The latest in builds grand enough to dare to capture the books/films epic scale is this massive version of Helm’s Deep. With talk of OneLug’s “Last March of the Ents” and Nick’s review of the official set today, I figured this would be a good time to bring Daniel Z “DNL”‘s version of the fortress to the attention of anyone who may have missed it. As Nick mentioned in his review, the causeway to the gate needs to be high enough that it would be doubtful you’d survive the fall and this pulls that off well. Add to that the height of the walls and the fantastic rock work and this makes for a keep that will never fall as long as men defend it, or until Daniel decides to build something else.
