I’ll be completely honest: I have absolutely no idea if this is considered “news”. The press release hit my inbox a few minutes ago, and it seems like the set is already on sale right now. So I’m assuming the Mack Anthem set was first available in the January 2018 assortment, but like I said, I just now received the press release. It looks like Mack was the one that sent it out, so perhaps they were taking the lead in notifying the press? I don’t know.

In any case, The LEGO Group teamed up with Mack Trucks to create a new Technic building set based off of Mack’s newest “highway hero”, the Mack Anthem. This 2,595-piece set will allow you to build a Mack Anthem and, alternatively, build a Mack LR if you so choose. It is available now from LEGO Shop@Home and Mack Shop for $179.99.
