LEGO announced a new partnership with Monster Jam, the result of which is two sets based on two of the more popular Monster Jam trucks, Grave Digger and Max-D. Both models feature an alternate build, a pull back motor and will be available for $19.99 each starting in January 1, 2021.
The age range of these sets is 7+. If the partnership includes more trucks in the future, then the price point makes the idea of collecting all of them not so daunting. My youngest is going to CRAZY for these.
42118 Monster Jam Grave Digger
42118 Monster Jam Grave Digger has 212 pieces and will be $19.99. It can be rebuilt into a dune buggy model using the alternate building instructions found in the LEGO Building Instructions app.
42119 Monster Jam Max-D
42119 Monster Jam Max-D has 230 pieces and will be $19.99. It can be rebuilt into a quad-bike model using the alternate building instructions found in the LEGO Building Instructions app.
