I'd like to really thank the staff for an awesome contest. I had a blast building my racer, and even though I claimed to not like the last two laps, they really kept me wondering and worrying. And Don, this entire contest has made me start to worry about your sanity

Anyway, congratulations to all the racers!

Congratulations to the winners. I totally agree with the outcome. My favourites were the first two. The ipod was a great idea and a even more fantastic build, but it was too far away from being a regular 'pod'. But third place for thinking outside the box is fine.

Big up to everyone who participated and special thanks to the mods who set up this whole contest and contributed the prizes.
The voting was really fun, the idea how this voting proceeded indeed had quite a race character.

I LOVE the Spinner Pod. This just makes me hope that Lego brings out a couple of Blade Runner sets.

Way to go!

Too bad that my pod racer crashed and burned. :)

Again thanks to the staff for putting on a stellar contest, and all the work that was involved (That is the most complex and cool spreadsheet I've seen in quite awhile). Congrats to the winners, and all the great pod designs out there.

Don't I get something for crossing the line in the same position every lap? ;)

again great contest.

I have to say that this was the most fun I have had on this site since the first chat with Tim Saupe, you guys did a great job keeping me coming back to see when the next poll was, and honestly, as much as I do not like Episode I (I do not own a copy of it) this contest made me ask around for friends who have a copy so I can watch the podrace scene... sad but true so great job.

Arrrr, fourth place! I shoulda mounted those cannons for'ard and blasted yer scurvy butts!

Seriously, it's good to know I'll be the one to assume the winner's circle if one of them gets caught posing for saucy pictures in the wrong magazine.

Seriously seriously, big thanks to the guys running this contest and big BIG thanks to everyone who voted for me. Fourth place is an excellent ranking and hearty praise. I'm making entering Lego contests my ex post facto New Year's resolution. Anything that gets me to stick bricks to bricks is a good thing, and the challenge of it makes me try new (for me) techniques .

Congrats to the winners! And also a pox on all of you.

Congrats to the top three and great job to all the entries. I was going to enter this contest and had started on the pod but then life got in the way. Good thing too cause everything was so cool I would have looked like a 2nd grader.
