Based on that screenshot, I count four ads that completely dwarf the actual content on the page, and one of the ads autoplayed! With sound!
Look, I understand monetizing content pays the bills, and I’d like to make money as much as the next guy, but do you want people to stop using your site? ‘Cause this is how you get people to stop using your site. And no, I don’t use adblock, because, like I said, I understand people want to monetize, but if your page ends up looking like this and you make it difficult and/or annoying for users to read your content, they’ll just look for the content elsewhere. Or they’ll just start using adblock. And in either scenario, you end up losing.
