LEGO sent out an email blast earlier today with some details on their May the Fourth promotion, the unofficial Star Wars shopping holiday. Here they are:
New UCS R2-D2 Will Be Available
This is the big push for this year’s May the Fourth. 75308 R2-D2 will be available for purchase for the first time starting on May 1. Cost is $199.99.
Double VIP Points
Get double VIP points for all purchases of LEGO Star Wars sets. This offer lasts from May 1 through 11:59pm Eastern Time May 5, 2021.
Free Tatooine Homestead Set
Get the above pictured Tatooine Homestead micro-build set with a LEGO Star Wars purchase of $85 or more. I’m disappointed in the distinct lack of a printed 1×2 tile with burning skeletons. Even though it’s called “Tatooine Homestead” we all know it’s the Lars’s place. This offer lasts from May 1 through 11:59pm Eastern Time May 5, 2021 or while supplies last.
Free Imperial Shuttle Mini (In-store only)
If you venture out to a physical LEGO Brand Retail store location, you can get this free Imperial Shuttle polybag set with a LEGO Star Wars purchase of $40 or more. This offer lasts from May 1 through May 5, 2021 or while supplies last.
VIP Sweepstakes of a “Dutch” Vander Minifig with Signed Photo
You can spend your precious VIP points for an entry or two for this signed photo of Gold Leader. This offer lasts from May 1 through May 21, 2021.
The shopping fun should begin at around 12 midnight Eastern Time May 1 / 9pm Pacific Time April 30. Be prepared for a slow unresponsive website. If you plan on redeeming any points for dollar discounts, do it now because that part of the site is hosted by a third-party and their uptime is even worse during heavy traffic.
