LEGO Shop@Home is offering to double your VIP point pleasure from now until the end of the month when you purchase one of the 3 Star Wars sets pictured above. I know some folks have started to wonder how much longer the 10188 Death Star will be around, so maybe this would be a good time to grab it up. I don't imagine we'll see any free shipping until at least Easter so it's your call, though it does remind me that I still need pick up that V-wing (I only want it for the droid).

Seconded. I've been wanting 10188 for a while now, and every time I get near the amount of cash, something else happens.

I'd probably have to sell my boxed Sail Barge and 7676 Republic Gunship to get 10188 and I'm not quite sure I'm ready to do that just yet. I really don't have the space for it anyway...

Double VIP points still only makes it the same price that Amazon sells it for with no discount - $400 with no tax. Although psychologically it is nice accumulating those points for "free" Lego.

It's 40 bucks back, and if you resell you're likely to get every dollar you spend buying it back, and then some. Just a thought.

$400 is a lot to tie up, I know. Keep in mind there was that 10% off coupon in the catalog that expires at the end of the month...if you haven't spent it already.
