The LEGO store calendar for March 2021 is out, along with a big push of Vidiyo. Is it new for March? Is it available now? Is it available later? I have no idea. I’m very in the dark about Vidiyo and honestly, it’s not something that appeals to me. There’s a tie-in to music I think? And you can make a music video? Something I’ve always wanted to do with LEGO, you know, is to try and make a music video with my LEGO figs.
I know it’s not for me and that I’m not in the target market. Or maybe I am because, lie I said before, I know nothing about this. But despite not knowing, usually, I can see the appeal in something. Vidiyo? I got nothing.
But in other, way cooler promotional news, we have two GWP that look great. Well, if I’m being honest one looks pretty STELLAR (Amelia Earhart) and one looks …. not as stellar (Easter Bunny set).
The 40450 Amelia Earhart Tribute set is free with $100 purchase of LEGO sets and runs from March 6 through March 14 or while supplies last. You’ll want to stay up until midnight for this one. 40449 Easter Bunny’s Carrot House is free with $60 purchase of LEGO sets and runs non-currently with the Tribute set from March 15 through April 5. There’s a third GWP set, 30579 Easter Chick, a polybag set that can be yours with a minimum $40 purchase of LEGO. This deal is good from March 15 through March 21 or while supplies last and is only good in-store at a Brand Retail location.
I got a ping for a shipment from LEGO. I hadn’t ordered anything lately so I’m hoping I’ll be getting the Earhart Tribute set. I’ll post a review here if it is.
