Can you believe that roughly 10 years ago, 10182 Café Corner hit the store shelves? To celebrate the diamond anniversary, LEGO is releasing 10255 Assembly Square. At a hair just over 4,000 pieces, 4,002 to be exact, 10255 Assembly Square will set you back three bills at $279.99 USD and will hurt your wallet on January 1st, 2017. The set consists of three smaller buildings instead of the usual one, or two in the case of the 10218 Pet Shop. The set name is a bit of a misnomer since there really isn’t any semblance of an Assembly Square. This is more like a plaza or a strip mall but I guess “10255 Strip Mall” doesn’t sound as elegant. As with all of the more recent modular buildings, there’s a ton of little details all around. Tons of pictures below as well as the official press release and the designer video.
