Shortly after Ace posted the tease of the upcoming UCS Helicarrier in the store calendar, bacon 1986 gave the heads up about this Wall Street Journal exclusive and then we recieved the official press release. In the span of one day, I went from not knowing anything about this or even being sure it was real to needing it in my life.

Weighing in at 2996 pieces and with a price tag of $349 (US), it’s quite a beast in my book. It may not be as big as many had hoped, but it’s got a lot going for it. Not only does it include some very desirable figures, but some neat little minifig trophies painted as microfigs. This is being shown at the New York Toy Fair and Ace will be there to take picks, so stay tuned and let the complaining commence!
