Announced today, LEGO is pulling back the curtain on their latest D2C model, 10242 MINI Cooper. Costing just $99.99 (USD), this 1,077 piece will be available starting August 2014. Look for possible VIP early bird access around mid July.
In addition to the usual assets, LEGO has partnered up with social media platform Tongal – which facilitates video content by crowdsourcing creative work through collaborative contests – and three very talented directors to create a series of tongue-in-cheek, spoof videos based on today’s car commercials.
