Like I said before, the contest may have had few entries, but what it lacked in numbers it made up for in plain awesomeness. After a week of voting, the winner is:
Congrats to you! And thanks go out to everyone who participated. So many good entries. You do not disappoint.
There may not be many entries in the CubeDude Vigs contest, but what it lacks in numbers it makes up for in awesomesauce. Take a peek at the 15 entries in the contest and cast your vote in the contest thread. Poll is open for 7 days. Good luck to all.
Yes, it’s that time. Time for another contest. Time for…
That’s right, a vignette contest of a different nature. The loot? A set of the 2010 San Diego Comic Con LEGO Exclusive CubeDudes and the Star Wars Celebration V LEGO Exclusive CubeDudes. The rub? You can build CubeDudes from any LEGO licensed theme. Read all about it.
A small blurry shot earlier this week teased us all with the news of Celebration V’s CubeDude set: the Empire Strikes Back bounty hunters! Today we get a much more revealing look at the assortment via StarWars.com

I really liked the ComicCon exclusive figures, but these are just awesome.
Thanks to UOldPirate on the forums for pointing out the new article!
Gooker1 from our forums reports that the latest issue of Toyfare magazine has revealed what LEGO’s San Diego Comic Con exclusive will be: a set of Cube Dudes designed by the father of the Cube Dude movement himself, Angus MacLane. The Dudes will be R2-D2, C-3PO, Obi-wan Kenobi, Yoda, and Captain Rex. The convention runs 4 days, 5 if you include preview night, so I’m guessing they will sell one Dude per day. Stay tuned for more info as I get it.
