Oh a ARC-170. I missed out on that the first time so I am defiantly going to have to get it this time. And depending on the price maybe two!

While they have made landspeeders twice before, it's been a while. Most little kids collecting in the key 5-10 year old range have never seen one on shelves. Plus Lego has some nice new windshields that might work well on a new model. Maybe old C-3PO will show up in a cheap set again.

See, this is a good argument for why certain vehicles are being re-released, and can actually be added too: TLG has learned some new building techniques since the playset was last released.

For example, take a look at the difference between 7151 Sith Infiltraor released in 1999, and the 7663 Sith Infiltrator released in 2007. Or the difference between the 7184 Trade Federation MTT released in 2000, and the 7662 Trade Federation MTT released in 2007. Or the difference between the older X-Wings, TIE Fighters, Y-Wings, and any released in the last few years. Or even the the unpainted Eewok heads from the 7139 Eewok Attack and the painted ones in 8038 The Battle of Endor released this year.

I am glad TLG is doing this, and looking forward to what they re-do in the future.

I look forward to the Landspeeder in particular, because there's a good chance this will be around ten dollars. It's been a while since I've seen some under-20-dollar SW sets besides the battlepacks, and I'd like to see more of the small sets, like the ones in the early waves of the line. I think we need more sets like the Speeder Bikes, Landspeeder, Droid Escape, etc.

Of course, given recent increased pricing, there's also a good chance this will be 15-20 dollars.

These mostly sound like lower price point sets. A Tie, landspeeder, speeder bikes... they all sound like the under $50 category. The ARC 170 may too, depending on how elaborate it is. I like the assortment just for that aspect. We get a bit of a break.

First, there is no way TLG will let the tie get any thing less than $60. An awsome EU set that will likely never be seen agian, well theres just no chance. 2nd, the arc-170 is one of the few ep 3 sets from 05 i actually got. Why cant they remake AT-RT, wookie stuff, or even the v-wing.

I really need wookies.

This is glorious, Hoth battlepacks are just what I need. I probably pick up
the 2 Battlepacks, the Landspeeder(maybe with tusken raiders ),
and the ARC 170 starfighter. The TIE Defender and the Freeco Bike are
still kinda outta my mind.

I'll definitely pick up the battle packs. The speeders sound good too, but I'll have to see what all of the sets look like when they come out.

I'm still trying to pick up some more sets from this year, though - phew!

I don't see why you're thinking that. Most TIEs have been 20 dollars, with Vader's and the Crawler being the exceptions. Granted, the Defender is one of the larger variations, but even the Crawler was only 50 dollars. I'd expect a 30-50 dollar set, at most.
