I can confirm that these are hitting LEGO stores now. I just picked one up at the LEGO store on Michigan Ave. in Chicago for $10. They did not have many left, but they are out there!

I can second the Chicago one as well- picked up 2x yesterday at the Michigan Ave location yesterday- sort of a fluke, a sales rep was telling me all about the magnets which I already knew about, I said how great they were and thats when he proceeded to tell me about 'great new chrome stormtrooper magnets'- i was so happy to hear they had them so i bought 2, one to take out and one to keep sealed

Ryan, see what joys patience brings. It leaves you with five extra dollars in your wallet to spend of other LEGO stuff.

Nice! Thanks for the info darthlucas. I was hoping they would be put up online as I didn't want to have to make a drive down to Downtown Disney.

or better still, someone (not necessarily you, btw) should use their contacts at Lego to confirm that it will eventually become available in all countries! :S

yeah, i've seen rumours of it being at the Brand Stores in the UK too ... but I'd just like some reassurance from Lego that it'll be available everywhere at some point.

Lego is *really* bad at promoting itself and it's products like this :(

I tried to ask Customer Service and they just said "we can't comment on new products"

phew, because I'm on holiday

If customer services are giving you the run around then call the brand stores direct. There are only three of them in the UK.

That's rather encouraging, £5.20 is a great price considering how much they were charging down at LEGOland.

Same in Germany with 30th July as release date. The price there is 6.50 Euro.

I hope to get my parcel from Ry soon. This is an even more special Stormie, because it's bought during the SW weekend. :)
