Last night was the deadline for entries and now the first poll is ready to go. We have 52 competitors that you’ll have to narrow down, so stop by this thread to pick your favorites. This first poll will run for one week, and you can select up to five entries. The five top ranked models will move on to the final round of voting next weekend. You can see each of the competing builds below… there’s a lot of variety and some very odd aircraft so the voting should be interesting. Cheers to everyone who participated and good luck in the poll!
As of midnight tonight you’ll only have five more days to submit your model for the Wings of Justice contest. Lots of fun designs so far and we’re sure to get some more competition in the last stretch like we usually see. I’m really looking forward to the final lineup. When you’re ready to go be sure to post your photos to this thread as outlined in the rules. Again: the deadline is 11:59pm June 2nd (PST) – that’s this Saturday night – and voting will commence shortly after. Good luck everyone and keep those models coming!

Wheels of Justice turned out to be a really cool contest, Avengers opens nation wide tomorrow, and the new superhero sets are already hitting shelves… so the timing just feels perfect for… drumroll please… Wings of Justice!
Your task: pick a superhero and build them an aircraft to fight crime in. See below for the specifics. First place is a brand new 6869 Quinjet set, but that’s not the only prize on the line. The contest will be open from midnight of May 3rd through 11:59pm June 2nd (PST) and is open to everyone in the world.
It’s been a great contest with loads of fantastic entries and the final votes are in. The winner of this year’s Podrace Challenge is Sparkart with his Lady Liberty based Ghostbusters Chibi Pod Racer:
The idea behind this is just too clever if you ask me, and the build is right up there as well. A well deserved 1st place design. The collectable minifigures turned out to be an excellent source of inspiration and made the voting especially hard for everyone. Click here to view the rest of the top five entries.
The preliminary poll just closed and the finalists have been selected, now they’re going head to head to determine the winners. Click here to go place your vote! I apologize for not linking to the first poll here on the main page, I assumed anyone intent on voting would have caught it on the forum over the weekend. I’ll be sure to keep that in mind for future contests.
Midnight, Pacific time to be exact. That leaves you with just over thirteen hours left to polish off that podracer of yours and post it to the forum thread if you want to participate. The turnout so far has been spectacular and members are really going all out with this theme. I can’t wait to see what the last minute entries will look like. Once all the submissions are in we’ll double check them for compliance and set up the poll, so voting should be ready the weekend. Good luck!
We’ve just passed the halfway point for the building phase for our podracer contest and the entries are already pouring in. You still have two weeks left if you would like to participate and earn a shot at the prizes. That’s plenty of time to pick your favorite collectible minifig and build them a matching racer. The full contest rules are available right here on the forum so take a look and join the fun!
