I got some more details regarding the month-long Bricktober promotion happening at US Toys’R’Us stores.

  • In case you haven’t figured it out yet by looking at this page, the schedule of minifigs for the rest of the month is as follows:
    • October 10 – October 16, you’ll get Cavalry Colonel from the 1986 LEGO Western range. The Cavalry Colonel was featured in two LEGO sets, Fort Legoredo and Frontier Patrol.
    • October 17 – October 23, it will be the Fire Chief, part of the 1981 LEGOLAND Town Fire theme will reappear. The Fire Chief was sought after due to the distinctive white helmet he wore to distinguish himself from traditional Firefighter minifigures wearing black hats.
    • October 24 – October 30, it’ll be Black Falcon. Originally released in 1984, the Black Falcon was included within the Knight’s Castle construction theme, featured in the 1986 Black Falcon’s Fortress set.

All minifigs require a minimum LEGO purchase of $20.

  • From October 10 through 16, along with a minifig you get if you spend $20 or more on LEGO, you’ll also get a free fabric Halloween Bucket.
  • On October 23 from 12 noon – 2 pm, young LEGO fans can participate in the Bricktober 500. During the event, kids can build and decorate their own complimentary LEGO car and receive an official LEGO “Bricktober” 500 driver’s license, while supplies last. Once the car is constructed, they can race it against other LEGO fans’ creations.

I’ll post updates as I get more information.
