“After Christmas Blowout!” at Toys R Us?

So I mentioned to check the clearance aisles for deals. Now here come the official sales. First off we have Toys R Us, which in their latest e-mail flyer, which advertises “All LEGO Star Wars On Sale ALL WEEK LONG!” It also says:

Thing is, these discounts are not showing up online, and all four of these sets are marked up well over MSRP. Not sure what the deal is, but that “promotion” is running through January 1. You also get a free LEGO Star Wars backpack with $30+ purchase.

8129 AT-AT -$96 at Toys R Us

UPDATE: Forum member roar15 has shared a doorbuster coupon for $20 off any LEGO purchase $75 or more for Saturday 12/18 from 6 am-1 pm, in-store only. Not sure if this can be combined with the existing 20% off, but if you can get it to work, that would bring 8129 down to about $75! Definitely worth a try. Good luck!

At Toys R Us, you can snag an 8129 AT-AT Walker for $95.99, 20% off TRU’s normal price of $119.99 (or $14 off regular MSRP). It’s not a huge discount, but that brings it down to about what the original 4483 AT-AT cost back in 2003.

Sale runs Friday 12/17 and Saturday 12/18. You will also get the free 30005 Speeder Bike with purchase.

Summer Sets Spotted In The Wild

Various reports are coming in that the August wave of LEGO Star Wars sets are starting to appear at Toys’R'Us stores. Below is a list of the MSRPs so keep in mind these prices when shopping, as TRU may and most likely will add their infamous markup:

8098 Clone Turbo Tank: $119.99
8097 Slave I: $79.99
8096 Emperor Palpatine’s Shuttle: $59.99
8095 General Grievous Starfighter: $49.99
8093 Plo Koon’s Starfighter: $24.99
8089 Hoth Wampa Cave: $39.99

The 8129 AT-AT Walker set is a TRU exclusive and their price is $109.99.

Target and Walmart stores are also clearing out some older stock, presumably to make room for the new wave, so you can probably score some nice discounts on stuff like the Pirate Tank, Venator, and other various sets. Happy Hunting!

8129 AT-AT Walker Revealed

Thanks to Toys’R'Us, their fall exclusive has been revealed: 8129 AT-AT Walker. Price is $109.99 with no indication of TRU’s infamous markup, but I would wager a bet that the actual MSRP is $99.99. Not bad considering you get 8 figures and 815 pcs. Image below:
