Those episode descriptions sound really, really dull.

Well, at least it's a return to open conflict and less politics and intrigue like last season. ZZZzzzzzz.....

We need to see something horrible and irreversible happen to Jar Jar this season.

Cartoon Network's website has a preview video up.

It certainly looks more exciting than those descriptions lead on. I'm really looking forward to that first episode since it seems to be an homage to one of the more memorable episodes of Genndy Tartakovsky's Clone Wars.

This should be better than last season.

I mean, it can't get any worse... Can it?

Two of the first 4 episodes star Gungans? Oh, this season is off to yet another incredible start. With the lame blu-rays, Phantom Menace back in theatres, creepy pervert Darth Maul face on all the toy packaging, the terrible reviews awaiting Kinect Star Wars, and now this news, will the next 6 months represent a low point for the Star Wars franchise?

Every year has been a new low point. I don't expect that to change.

I was just thinking, given the order of the episodes - are they gonna have the gungans come to Mon Calamari and turn the tide (heh) of the underwater battle? How humiliating for Admiral Ackbar.... and how silly for the saga as a whole. :S

Usually it is starts on Sky Movies Premier a month or so after it starts in the US (Though we usually catch up with the showings by the finale). It then can be found on Cartoon Network once it has finished its run on Sky.

As yet the UK start date has not been announced

Hmph. Gotta be honest, it was pretty murky (literally) and not all that exciting/interesting. Shark guy's gotta go...

Yeah, I did not care for the shark guy at all. I found most of the hour boring and kept switching channels throughout. Poor writing and directing. I was hoping to see the Mon Calamarians fleshed out a bit, but they were mostly action figures in a bathtub. In the future I would like to see the Mon Calamarians get truly enslaved and perhaps some hints or references to the Tarkin/Ackbar relationship.

I have watched the first three seasons of Clone Wars every Friday night religiously, and I must say the first episode of Season 4 was one of the worst episodes ever. It was hard to follow the action due to the underwater scenes being too dark. I couldn't wait for one of the Jedi to silence the shark guy with a lightsaber, but he lives to see another episode.

Regarding the Gungans, what happened to Boss Nass? Instead, there was another Gungan in charge who seemed to be more annoying than Jar Jar. Hopefully future episodes improve or I will have to can this from the regular Friday night routine.
