That Small Car has seriously got to be the ugliest LEGO car I have ever seen. The rescue net on the Fire Station looks interesting though - is it just a yellow spider web or a is it a new piece?

The set may be called "Small Car", but it is obviously closely modelled after the smart fortwo. I wonder why LEGO did not go that extra mile to work out a licensing deal with Daimler.

Probably because it was much cheaper to simply allude to the Smart Car without actually calling it a Smart Car.

I'm liking the Smart car, and the minifig in that one. I like the street lamp repair one too. It would have been nice to have a couple more street lamps come with it though. I like the others too, but like what was said before, I just don't need that much fire stuff. I'm still using the my old 70s/80s fire station and fire helicopter. On the brightside it does help with decisions process on what city sets to get. The fire engine does seem kinda cool the more I look at it.

I've been diggin' the fact that LEGO is doing more vehicle variants. The caravan, SUV and the sports car have been great additions to my LEGO town. The Smart car will be one I'll have to get. The only thing is the traffic in my town is getting pretty bad, especially with all the construction stuff I've gotten recently.

Something about that limo doesn't sit right with me. It kind of looks like a stretch Subaru Outback.

Re: the limo, I think it looks odd for two reasons. It is white. And the use of those fenders.

The farm looks awesome.

For what it's worth, I saw the seaplane, smart car, and the little impulse set above with the luggage rack at TRU tonight here in Austin, TX.
