So another year, and mostly the same format: Ace handling Star Wars, Eric looking at Harry Potter, and in a shocking turn of events, Nick not having to deal with a Marvel calendar dedicated to causing physical pain – he’ll be handling City this year because while his kids may be into Minecraft he decidedly is not (and also that thing was impossible to find in his area). As always, there will be some extra special bonuses, a lot of cheeky writing, tons of typos and things we miss that someone will demand we go and hire an editor to fix.
We will not do that.
Ace (Star Wars) – 5 Hit / 17 Misses
Eric (Harry Potter) – 13 Hits / 6 Misses / 1 Harry Potter / 1 Totally Neutral
Nick (City) – 18 Hits / 4 Misses
Nick (Star Wars) – 5 Hits / 17 Misses
Ace (Star Wars)
Lame. Here are the contents of that barrel:
Lame. You know where this thing is supposed to go right?
Lame. This is the last workshop add-on and the final result is just… thrilling. I’ve never been so happy to be near the end of one of these calendars.
Eric (Harry Potter)
Well look at this lil guy! He’s just a lil fella, and I love everything about him except! That he cannot stand up on his own.
Nick (City and Stuff)
I hate to bag on Santa’s sleigh, but this is just… bad. I’ve never been a huge fan of these, especially since they tend to span a couple of days, but this is what I expect Santa to drive after he retires and just goes around his Summer Home on a rascal mobility scooter.
More crap for the workshop. Please go look at one of my previous days to see how boring these are, and take a look at Ace’s picture for what all the junk looks like together. For those keeping score at home, it’s something like 6 or 7 days for a polybag’s worth of stuff. Or in modern Star Wars pricing, this is a $30 set. Or maybe $45 if they include the astromech and C-3PO.
I love coffee, and this guy is now my favorite. Not just because he and I share basically the same facial expression, but because I relate to the general vibe. Of course, while I am currently drinking some coffee, it’s decaf. I gave up caffeine back in August, and the real “wow, that’s some dull living” has been in full effect. I don’t drink alcohol, caffeine, soda, or eat sugar. I’ll hopefully live a longer life, but I’ve got no real vices left.
