So another year, and mostly the same format: Ace handling Star Wars, Eric looking at Harry Potter, and in a shocking turn of events, Nick not having to deal with a Marvel calendar dedicated to causing physical pain – he’ll be handling City this year because while his kids may be into Minecraft he decidedly is not (and also that thing was impossible to find in his area). As always, there will be some extra special bonuses, a lot of cheeky writing, tons of typos and things we miss that someone will demand we go and hire an editor to fix.
We will not do that.
Ace (Star Wars) – 5 Hit / 14 Misses
Eric (Harry Potter) – 11 Hits / 6 Misses / 1 Harry Potter
Nick (City) – 14 Hits / 4 Misses
Nick (Star Wars) – 4 Hits / 14 Misses
Ace (Star Wars)
Cannon fodder. A red shirt An extra. The seat filler. The penny on a dirty sidewalk. A PhD nothingburger. There must be just these giant bins of these things that LEGO is still trying to get through like a single man who decides a 20 lb turkey was a good idea for a solo thanksgiving. Honestly, I try not to act or think entitled, but we deserve better.
Eric (Harry Potter)
This little guy is the Monster Book of Monsters, a book that’s also alive somehow. I don’t know. It’s Harry Potter; it’s weird. Those plate bars are used for the tendrils of the book, but to me it looks like legs. A bit unfaithful to the source material, but I like it regardless.
Nick (City and Stuff)
My god, look at this thing… it’s so beautiful. Compare this glorious thing to the half-ass table we got early on. Such a hit, and all holiday builds should be like this.
A super battle droid. They went this lazy, so I’m going to be lazy and not even make up a way to make fun of the miss.
Is this colored like unicorns, made of unicorns, or just strictly marketed for unicorns? I have questions.
