Just this morning Lego uploaded a new trailer showcasing the Portal level for Dimensions, and I have to say it looks crazy fun. The test chambers translated really well to brick built environments, GLaDOS feels nice and ominous and is as snarky as ever, and there are all kinds of new game mechanics to help solve different puzzles unique to this version. For the first time I’m interested in the game instead of just being disappointed that the level packs with exclusive minifigures cost so much.
Also, Ryan is down at E3 right now, so he’ll have some hands on impressions of the game tomorrow so look forward to that!
No word yet on any actual LEGO Portal sets, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there was more than just the one level pack we’ve already seen in the Dimensions lineup. Fingers crossed.
