So another year, and mostly the same format: Ace handling Star Wars, Eric looking at Harry Potter, and in a shocking turn of events, Nick not having to deal with a Marvel calendar dedicated to causing physical pain – he’ll be handling City this year because while his kids may be into Minecraft he decidedly is not (and also that thing was impossible to find in his area). As always, there will be some extra special bonuses, a lot of cheeky writing, tons of typos and things we miss that someone will demand we go and hire an editor to fix.
We will not do that.
Ace (Star Wars) – 4 Hit / 18 Misses
Eric (Harry Potter) – 10 Hits / 6 Misses / 1 Harry Potter
Nick (City) – 14 Hits / 3 Misses
Nick (Star Wars) – 3 Hits / 14 Misses
Ace (Star Wars)
Box of parts with connecting hinge bricks to expand Labubu Fork’s workbench.
Curiously, the 1×1 round bricks have 1×1 round tiles on top instead of 1×1 studs. Not sure why other than maybe to have them capped off nicely. It certainly doesn’t serve any functional purpose. So far building the workbench or workshop has been extremely satisfying.
Not. I can’t wait to be done with this calendar.
Eric (Harry Potter)
Did I manifest this yesterday by talking about skeletons?
It’s not a great design, especially when you look at what it’s based on. The plates are too chunky. I would think some clever SNOT building could sell the rib cage of the bottle a lot more.
Nick (City and Stuff)
Another micro build and this one is just kinda gangbusters. I assume we’re looking at a semi (in which case I do wish we got more wheels but I get why we don’t), and it’s simple and basic.
More leftover crap. And not even an arm. It’s like there’s a better idea in here somewhere, and eventually we’re going to get things to put together the worst build Star Wars has ever seen. Still, miss for me.
Hop into it! I should look closer at that little protein label, because not exactly what Ice Cream is known for…
