Fans of Indiana Jones sets and other licensed lines (but not Star Wars, boo) should check out their toy isles at local US Targets. Forum members meeotch and Mister Ed have seen sets like 7682 Shanghai Chase and 3834 Good Neighbors at Bikini Bottom on clearance for 30% off.
On a side note, start keeping your eyes out, in general, for pre-holiday sales. Last year was a doozy for sweet pre-holiday sales. Great sets, both SW and non-SW were showing up at up to 40% off in the weeks leading up to mid-December 2008. Send me (forum tag: copyright) a PM or post in the “Finds” forum all about the deals. I will be sure to get relevant news on the front-page so the community can capitalize on all the sweet holiday deals right away!!

At both LEGO Brand Stores and Shop at Home through the 25th of June, the 7672 Rouge Shadow is on sale for 50% off. It is a decent set, especially at that steep discount, and worth picking one up. Additionally, if you purchase $50 or more in Star Wars items at the LEGO Brand Stores this month, you get a free Assassin Droids battle pack. To recap: 2 x 7672 + 1 x 8015 for $50 + tax, originally $110. Not too bad!
As far as I am aware, this is valid at US LEGO Brand Stores, but often such deals spill over to brand stores in other countries. Please PM me (user: copyright) to confirm if this offer is found in your local international LEGO Brand Store.
Thanks to a tip from forum member Puddleglum, Target has a sale this week where sets that are regularly priced at $10-11 are on sale for $8. Including the ever-awesome 8958 Granite Grinder, which I recently reviewed here.
