New 2012 Star Wars Brand Packaging

StarWars.com revealed yesterday Lucasfilm Licensing’s new brand packaging to appear across all their licensees products for 2012, all in an attempt to get you to see Episode I all over again in 3D. So I figure by the time mid-December rolls around later this year, you can start looking for Maul’s face on next year’s assortment.

Star Wars in 3D Coming 2012

Lucas wants more of your money. Lucasfilm announced yesterday that Star Wars will be getting the 3D treatment and is scheduled for release in 2012 starting with Episode I: The Phantom Menace. While I’m not particularly keen on seeing movies in 3D, I think the action sequences would actually lend itself quite well to the format. Like the idea? Hate it? Sound off in the discussion already brewing.
