So what's happening with the contest?

On December 18th, onions said he would post an update, but there never was one?

Considering all the e-cards I sent him, he's going to need more time to make the count.

My figures are likely to be different to onions' because of how I discovered them, but hopefully not by too much...

And perhaps more interesting because you can spot when they started using CAPTCHAs and when they started blocking outright, a rough "timeline" of how many messages were sent FOR THE TOTS! per every 10,000(ish)...

I have no problem with it taking him awhile to count them, it would just be nice if he said something, as he hasn't said anything since the 18th, I was just making sure he didn't forget, that's all. :)

Yeah. Maybe even just a status update like how far along he is on counting them.

I was able to pull my own count pretty quickly, so I doubt very much that's the reason for the delay, especially since he's been largely absent from the site in general (not just here or the Advent Giveaway threads) since mid-December.

Even though I did send many cards, I was joking about how long it would take Ace to count them.
I agree with you guys, it's been awhile. Kind of unusual. I'm still waiting for my advent prize.
Hopefully everything is good with him and he's not going through something serious.

Just out of curiosity, is the contest that went along with this still on? Or did that get abandoned when Lego put the kibosh on multiple emails?

We're not sure, we're all waiting to hear from Ace.

I'm still thinking how could you possibly create raffle with 416662 entries.
Is there a software for that?

Even if the contest is still open, legosantayoda.com removed the ability to send any more e-greets, so there's no way to participate if you hadn't already done so.
