My snowspeeder had two extra cheese slopes and no 1x2 trans tile. :C Hope I have a spare someplace.
EDIT: Nevermind, found it. D'oh!
I'm really diggin' this calendar so far. I'd totally buy all of these micro ships if they individually bagged for $1.99-ish like the Collectible Minifigures first were.
The TIE Fighter... would have been awesome, had we gotten two of them, or something. I love the simplicity and compactness of it, but it's so incredibly lame by itself. I had to make multiples of it.
Do a side by side comparison to the X-Wing... No wonder the Rebels won. It's ludicrous not to scale the X-Wing and TIE Fighter to each other.
my god, this calendar is... " It's a Trap !!!! " I think a real effort have to been made for 2012 SW advent calendar if they want to sell some ! Even my 7 years old son is not enthousiast while opening the windows...
I agree. The minifigs have lacked something. Chewbacca really? Xwing Pilot really? Tie Fighter Pilot really? Battle Droid really? Give me a Boba Fett...or a Princess Leia...
The Xwing has been the crown jewel thus far. The two weapon racks are among the worst.
Considering the rarity of the TIE pilot, I'm surprised so many people are hating on it. I didn't buy the set he was in, so it's cool to get one this way. Same goes for the clone pilot. They're probably saving the core characters for longevity. I think they're hoping to do Advent Calendars for the next few years. Can't cram them all in the first go-around. Not to say the selection we had was good, though. Seems like they did all the important ships already, but are saving the desirable characters for future calendars.
Considering how many of these Advent Calanders are still filling the shelves at Targets and Toy'r'us's around the country...I wouldn't be surprised if they don't do such a wide release next time.
