This was honestly the toughest one for me to vote on. I hated clicking to submit my votes, because most of this group was top-tier.

Well, voting here was pretty easy. Rook's entry is my favorite from the begining and some other
choices were easy too.

Good luck to everyone!

Yeah voting was pretty easy for me too, I've been carefully watching the entries as they get posted so I already pretty much knew who I was gonna vote for. Good luck guys, this is gonna be fun! :)

Yeah most groups had 2-4 clear leaders. This one looks like it has 3-5. :x It's all going to come down to the head to head votes because a couple of these really good ones are probably going to have to face each other right from the start.

And least there are several that I'm glad to see ended up in other pools. I'm sure everyone in this pool will be glad to face them later than sooner. *coughAvidSteeleBombadBarracudaSoulSnatchercough* XD

Don't misunderstand, I never said the other brackets don't have great ships, they most certainly do, some of my favorites. The Tattooine bracket however did end up with 3 of my top 5 personal favorites however, and i'm not even considering my own ship in that math. Very glad Joel's and Tyler's ships didn't land here especially.... if they had I would be convinced god doesn't like me =)

i know i am not gonna win. there are some great ships here that are way better than mine. :(
For all you people out there that think us Aussies are primitive and have Kangaroos in our backyard, think again. Australia uses the most electricity in the world. We live in cities and not huts and you Yanks have weird accents.

Its all about enjoying the build. I am with you, my little ship probably won't last too long in this dogfight, but its worth a shot!

I totally agree, even if I don't win, I still had a blast building over the last couple of months.

For the last few of you that posted it is extremely important that you entered. :check: I’ve found over the last 5 years that with each contest I entered, I learned more and more about online contests. Each time I was learning something new. And miracles of miracles I finally got 2nd place last year in this contest. :)

* Reading and rereading contest rules. (I had to get DQ’d several times to learn that one.)
* Not bashing other entries. (I had to get my head chewed off a few times to learn that one.)
* Camera Angles are more important that actual building techniques. (I failed miserably in the most recent Alphabet Contest because I forgot that one.)
* Color Selection. (Although something maybe drab it might work for the subject matter.)
* MOC Size. (Too big and you run out off good pieces. Too small and everyone feels you didn’t put enough effort into it.
* Image Clarity. (You can have an amazing MOC but if you have a fuzzy picture or too much in the background causing the image to look cluttered you’re toast.)
* Greebles & Other Details. (Too much and it looks cluttered and too little and looks too simple.)
* Angles and/or Curves. (Nobody likes a flying box.)
* Never Rush. (Build and rebuild a MOC until you’re completely happy with it or until you’ve reached the deadline.)
Yea, though I walk through the valley...

Same same on that one. I somehow missed the part about the top view being used in voting.. so my great side 3/4 shot was practically useless. Needless to say, I learned a valuable lesson.
