Toysrus.com currently has the 30055 Lego Star Wars Vulture Droid for $4.99.  It seems it is part of the B2G1 Free promotion that ends today even though that it is supposed to exclude Star Wars.

Anyone seen these in a B and M TRU?

The folks at my local TRU showed me the manifest for "the next truck" due in ~24hours. It has nothing on it that even resembles this set.

Just wondering if I will be stuck ordering it from TRU (and paying markup and shipping) or from a 3rd party seller (another markup, but at least going to a fellow AFOL, hopefully)

No dice at my local TRU, but the regular LEGO section was overstocked and two monster shelves had been stocked at the front of the store as well, so they are all geared up for Bricktober. Makes me wonder if the mini vulture droid will be offered as a freebie at some point during the Bricktober promotion.

I've checked 3 TRU's around me and didn't see any of these. None of the employees I talked to knew anything about them. I wonder when they are going to be in the stores.

seems likely... so we could get the magnet and a free polybag? i'd take that, i guess... as long as the minimum buy isn't too high.

I found these at my local TRU last week. However, they wouldn't sell them to me because the street date was either Oct. 22/23. I don't recall which. I was not happy. I had them in my hands

I was told that they were sold out already and that someone came about 30 mins before and bought all of them up.
So I'll try one more and see they have it but if not then its something that I'll skip...
