You Can Practically Hear The Engines Whine

Postby Staff » Mon Aug 01, 2011 10:17 pm

Eta-2 Actis-class Light Interceptor front oblique view wings up

There are only a few ships from the prequels that got my juices going, but this was one of them. The sprite little fighter that foreshadows the coming iconic TIE fighter, but also manages to maintain a "good guy" persona. This rendition from Kevin Murney is totally swooshable.

A creative mixture of parts on the guns, the one part of the official Eta-2's that have always been absurdly lacking. I have to wonder how stable the placement is on some of those though.
If the above post didn't offend you, you're probably reading it wrong.

Yes, and the computer voice on the ship is the same as in the HEV suit. Same lines, too. "Emergency! User death imminent." :)

The guns or the ship in general? Either one, the ship is very stable and swooshable. I'm uploading a video to youtube now to show some of the features. Thanks for posting! :)
Victory? Victory, you say? Master Obi-Wan, not victory. The shroud of the dark side has fallen. Begun, The Clone War has.
