That's right, it's time for Double VIP Points on all purchases, from March 1-15. Looks like it's time to pick up that UCS set you've been waiting on! I'm really thinking about the Death Star this time, even though I told myself I'd never do it....

edit: Thanks to a tip from Andi, it appears the VIP Double Points is good at all LEGO Stores and in all countries represented on S@H!

I'm pleased to see that S@H offers seem to be coming more uniform around the world. I know there are still discrepancies but recently offers like this seem to have applied in most places.

Man...and I just bought the Lego City Train YESTERDAY (Feb 28) at the Lego Honolulu store. Esp with the over-inflated Hawaii price...I think I paid something like $147.00...I would have appreciated double points on that!!! I certainly could have waited A DAY. I live on another island than Honolulu so it's not like I can go return it and buy it again...

Whenever there's a sale somebody's upset about being left out of it, but it also sucks to be the guy in this position.

The news of the AAA battery box and motor being available is my salvation tho, since I'm wanting to motorize my Emerald Night and the Maersk train when I get that...so I'll be getting my double points on all the accessories I need instead!

Not sure if all lego stores do the same parts for pick-a-brick, but Honolulu had switch tracks in there for $2.99 each...definitely cheaper than the switch tracks set.

Call LEGO Customer Service and ask nicely for the double points on the train set. They should give it to you.

I seem to find myself in the same situation. I placed my first order in a long time and the next week is the double points offer. Do they really honor the double points a week later or would I be wasting my time with a call?

It's a toll free call - all it will cost you to find out is a few minutes of your time. I say try it and see.

Actually, that's the same head that's in the Freeco Speeder set. Regular Anakin face on one side, ski goggles and mask on the other.

Seemed like a good time to go ahead and order Emerald Night, all the PF stuff to run it and some track. A couple more orders like that and I'll reach my goal to get 1/2 off the Death Star with VIP points.

Lego is a great company, they were very helpful and nice. Looks like the double points went live @ midnight EST, and due to Hawaii time zone differences I just missed it by about an hour

The best thing is I picked up 1 of the last 2 Diagon Alleys on Wednesday at my local Lego Store, then realized I got double points on it. Very nice to get a surprise like that.
