[Worldwide] [email protected] Double VIP Points time again!

Postby Mofo Jones » Tue Mar 01, 2011 9:59 am

That's right, it's time for Double VIP Points on all purchases, from March 1-15. Looks like it's time to pick up that UCS set you've been waiting on! I'm really thinking about the Death Star this time, even though I told myself I'd never do it....

edit: Thanks to a tip from Andi, it appears the VIP Double Points is good at all LEGO Stores and in all countries represented on [email protected]!

And because I can't escape my lawyer mentality, here are the details, via copypasta from [email protected]:

Offer is valid from March 1st to March 15th 2011 at LEGO Stores, over the telephone and on shop.LEGO.com. For online and telephone orders, points are attributed to the account once payment is received. Offer cannot be combined with any other VIP offer, discount or coupon. Points will not be earned on the purchase of Gift Cards, pre-orders, any applicable taxes or shipping charges. Customers that have signed up to the VIP Program by phone or at a LEGO Store must register online at VIP.LEGO.com to redeem their rewards. Offer not valid at LEGOLAND Discovery Centres or LEGOLAND Parks. Offer cannot be applied to previously placed orders or prior purchases. The LEGO Company reserves the right to amend or cancel this promotion at any time without prior notice.

It is in the German [email protected] as well, so I guess, it is worldwide?

I'm pleased to see that [email protected] offers seem to be coming more uniform around the world. I know there are still discrepancies but recently offers like this seem to have applied in most places.

Man...and I just bought the Lego City Train YESTERDAY (Feb 28) at the Lego Honolulu store. Esp with the over-inflated Hawaii price...I think I paid something like $147.00...I would have appreciated double points on that!!! I certainly could have waited A DAY. I live on another island than Honolulu so it's not like I can go return it and buy it again...

Whenever there's a sale somebody's upset about being left out of it, but it also sucks to be the guy in this position.

The news of the AAA battery box and motor being available is my salvation tho, since I'm wanting to motorize my Emerald Night and the Maersk train when I get that...so I'll be getting my double points on all the accessories I need instead!

Not sure if all lego stores do the same parts for pick-a-brick, but Honolulu had switch tracks in there for $2.99 each...definitely cheaper than the switch tracks set.

Lego is a great company, they were very helpful and nice. Looks like the double points went live @ midnight EST, and due to Hawaii time zone differences I just missed it by about an hour XD
