Heh...Obi's is ok, but gets points detracted IMHO, for being non-canon. Also looks like more of a scalie than a squishie which isn't helping it in this contest. +1 for a good astrotech droid tho, lol!

It's the ship he flies in to Utapau in epIII.
Or are you just hating on the prequels by saying they're not canon?

I'm having a hard time (seriously) telling if the post you're referring to is in jest, Ed.

Sorry, for some reason I thought prequels were non-canon but if they are, disregard my comment. Still more of a scalie than squishie.

Ugh came up short again. It's been cool making steady progress in each contest starting with my podracer coming in 8th, my bounty hunter coming in 4th, and now my chibi in 3rd. Maybe I'll be able to snag a prize spot in the next contest. XD

Thank you staff for another fun filled contest, and congrats to the other finalists.

I'll concur with Blackninjatom. This was a really fun contest. The comments here in the finals thread were very interesting even though I obviously wouldn't agree with all of them.

There are quite a few entries, both that got into the finals and didn't, that are good enough that I want to build them.

Thanks for all the votes.

So I'm not all that shocked by the winner, that thing is just too gorram adorable, but Tohst, I honestly thought you'd do better. You got my vote at least.
Congrats to all finalists any way though. All did great, all well deserved.

@MacLane: Congrats for taking top spot in the contest! PM me your mailing address and I'll send your prize out to you.

@Blackninjatom: you won the jury prize. PM me your mailing address as well.

Please save your MOCs! We would like to involve them in another upcoming project. We'll have details soon.

This was a great contest. Congrats to the winners. Aside from Angus with the clear lead, the others had pretty even voting which says a lot for the quality of the entries.

I'm surprised more people didn't vote. C'mon Bothans, be counted.

Congrats to the winners! XD

I already destroyed my Chibi fighter  , but it was disqualified because I was in a hurry and don't have Flickr, so it wasn't in the FBTB photostream.

Interesting, I don't remember seeing that in the original post. Was adding a second winner a post-start addition? If so, I'm curious what prompted it. Whatever the case, it's nice that there could be two winners.

The jury prize isn't something that I plan on being a regular feature in contests. It's a way to highlight mocs that didn't win a prize that we feel were deserving of some added recognition. We had our staff picks from the bounty hunter contest a few months back; sort of the same idea. For this contest, since there was only one prize, i thought it would be nice to add second surprise prize, or surprize if you will.

like i said, it may not happen for every contest. and if it does, it won't be advertised until after the fact.

Is this directed at everybody? Or just the finalists?

Congrats to the winners. The At-At is perfect chibi, but I was really impressed with the Jedi Starfighter's build as well.
