I've gone the last couple of years to this with my son and had a great time, however, I always seem to miss the FBTB people. I ask around the MOC booth and am always told that they're around somewhwere. Is there any way we can have an official FBTB meet during the event?

Absolutely. We've got 6 months to plan!

I was there last year and will be in attendence this year as well. It was a rousing good time for all. What are the pre reqs for entering a model at the MOC booth?

for the past couple years SanDLUG has kind of been the de facto group in charge of MOC displays, but if FBTB plans to have a bigger presence this year then we'll start coordinating stuff here before too long.

we are hoping to increase FBTB's presence at star wars days this year. to accomplish this goal, we are hoping that those of you who particpate in our april building contest will consider sending your mocs to me (or ryan) in may for display at the park. of course your models will be sent back, with hopefully a goody bag given to all volunteers/participants.

Can we bring them on our own if we are planning on being there? And is there a way to become an "official volunteer"?

there is a way. usually if you're displaying something the park asks that you display for both days and not just one. set up usually occurs in the early morning on saturday before the park opens and tear down when the park closes on sunday. we'll have more details as we get closer to the event.
