November Giveaway: Slave I

You know how I said I'd be doing a monthly Battle Pack giveaway? Okay, I lied, I'm skipping the Battle Pack for November. Instead, I'll be giving away a copy of 8097 Slave I. Okay, I lied, I won't be giving it away. Instead, The LEGO Company is generously donating the prize and will be handling the delivery. Everyone is welcome to enter, one entry per household, and your delivery address cannot be a PO box. For the other rules and regulations, be sure to read the giveaway rules page. After all that, if you want to try your luck at the drawing, send me an email to giveaways@fbtb.net with Slave I Nom Nom as the subject line. The giveaway window is open for one week, closing on November 7, 2010 at 11:59pm Pacific Standard Time.

Nice giveaway and from Lego to boot. It's very gracious of TLG to donate such a great set. It got me to thinking though that quite possibly the end of the Mayan calendar just may predict the day that TRU donates a set for a give-away. That would be apocalyptic. Good luck to those that have entered. I'm going to withhold myself from entering to give a better chance to someone who may not have the set, yet.

Well, I'll be honest - I've not usually checked in at FBTB more than a couple times a week, generally. Random chance for me to have even seen this particular giveaway.......

But it was such an awesome prize that I had to enter - I'm glad I did. Thank you to FBTB, and much thanks to TLC - they'll get a very nice letter for their generosity as well!
