Those are perfectly fine adjustments to make.

I think it's pretty cool that the creator of this style of building has entered the competition. I'm assuming it was mostly for fun rather than a desire to win the prize. But anyway ... *technically* he's not complied with the rules anyway, as he's posted 2 pics into this thread, so is disqualified surely?! ;) ;)

I just hope my bricklink order arrives in time so I can complete my build and enter by the deadline :S

I'm waiting on one little piece in the correct color to officially finish mine and get it submitted. Worst case for me is that 2 pieces are dk gray instead of tan and they look okay in the wrong color because of placement...

to be fair i never really considered that multiple views would be necessary, so that is shortsightedness on my part. if people need to submit more than one pic, it is allowable.

Here is my entry for the contest. I went with the Toys Story 3 as my theme, and copied the Lego set that these characters come in for my scene. From left to right Chunk, Lotso, & Stretch.

I've been checking out this site for quite a while, and when I saw the competition, I figured I might as well try to make something and enter. I've been a fan of LEGO for many years, especially the Star Wars license, but have never done anything besides build the sets.

After many hours of attempting to build a cube dude from plastic bins sorted by set, I decided I needed to sort everything by piece type. That's still not completed, but I found the pieces I needed. I really want to thank MacLane and everyone else who has built CubeDudes™ on flickr, they were great for figuring out the dimensions, as well as inspiration.

So, here is my entry for the CubeDudes vignette contest: Harry Potter vs Lord Voldemort

I welcome any feedback. I really want to get into building more.

This is my first foray into the world of CubeDudes and I have to say I found it quite challenging and rewarding to try and get the right level of detail into these models. Hopefully I did a good job.

This vignette represents the medal ceremony scene at the end of Episode IV : A New Hope.

Here is my Indy entry:

Image

Of course, this is from The Last Crusade when Indy and Dr Elsa Schneider finds their way down the catacombs under the Venice Library. Elsa is looking at the picture of the ark. Marcus Brody waits above (with the dairy of Jones Sr), but Kazim sneeks up on him.

I know the bone torch, rats and petroleum water are actually a bit later, but I liked them here anyway. Note the CubeDude style skulls!

More on my Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/skaftepetter/sets/72157625233338072/ I don't want to clutter the FBTB Flickr Pool with all my pics. (Please note that some of the pics are from an earlier stage.)

Nice use of the magnifying glass for the glasses. Something that had sprung to my mind whilst building mine (although obviously not really applicable to my build!). Some really great entries here :)

Here is my entry: Spider Dude VS. Dr. Cubicus, Venom-Dude, and the Green Cubelin! The Spidey and Venom designs are based on those by MacLane, but are a little different.
Please let me know if there is anything wrong with it.
