LEGO Star Wars Diorama at LEGOLand Germany

According to the news report here (translated), LEGOLand Germany will have a special diorama section in Miniland devoted to LEGO Star Wars. Not only that, but it seems that it will be at minifig scale instead of the usual miniland scale. The new section is scheduled to open in June 2011.

If it's true, that would be freaking amazing. I don't know about the minifig scale thing, though, seems like that's been reserved for the Discovery Centers so far.

Also, just a curiosity question. Are these dioramas left out in the elements (rain or shine)? I only ask because I've never been to a LEGOland before and it would seem to me that the bricks would take a beating out in the heat and cold?
