I Think We're On Facebook

FBTB on Facebook

Someone told me this Facebook thing might take off and that I should get in on the ground floor, so if I did things correctly, you should see the FBTB Page on Facebook. If not, then someone tell me what I'm doing wrong cause this whole internet thing is new to me. So become a fan, poke me, and trash my garden or whatever "facebooking" means.

Oh, I also updated our Twitter icon on the right there ====>

Cool but if I'm going to visit FBTB then I'm going to fbtb.net not Facebook.

Barely related so you can delete this post if you want: The RSS feed is over a week behind actual posts on the home page. Is that Feedburner's fault?

wasn't there already a FBTB page on Facebook? I remember vaguely that there was something 2 or 3 years ago...

I don't use facebook, but this is cool for the people who do.

Most likely, as I use google reader, and it updates right away.

i noticed this last night and put in a fix. there was a validation error on the xml. who knows how long it was broken but no matter. feedburner now shows the updated the feed.

excellent, and the pick up has been great; I joined this morning and there were 9 fans, there are now 120 fans. I think the majority of us will still come here for our news however I think the FB page is a nice addition.

the goal of the facebook was to make our front page news posts available through another avenue, just like our twitter account.

Cool - thanks!

Do you manually copy the posts as FB updates or did you write code for it to be automatically picked up? Just wondering...

Not digging the big cartoony F and T on the front page.... but I suppose I'll get used to them.
