October VIP Double Points

Just a reminder, the LEGO VIP Program is offering Double VIP Points on all purchases at a LEGO Store, through S@H or over the phone, starting tomorrow. Promotion runs October 1st-31st.

Now would be a good time to buy that expensive set you've been putting off. The UCS Imperial Shuttle, for example, can land you over 500 VIP points!

Don't forget that your VIP rewards are available immediately, so cascade your purchases if you are buying more than one set. For example, today I bought the Shuttle Adventure in one purchase, earned $10 rewards immediately, and then bought a second set with that $10 on a separate charge. Unlike TRUs rewards, there's no waiting for VIP rewards to be usable.

They keep telling me in the Lego Store that I can't use my VIP rewards at once but that it takes at least one day till they are available.

atxdad is right, they roll over right away unless it's different outside the U.S., I do it all the time especially on large purchases like multiple death stars, castles, and stuff like that, otherwise I just bank it. INSTANT SAVINGS!!!

Also, unlike TRU's rewards there's no maximum either, I routinely build up $100 or more before spending it whereas with TRU you max out at $20 rewards to spend in one month plus you can only spend $10 per each half of the month. It's a joke of a system with TRU. You don't even really get rewards unless you hit $500 to start.
