TRU just posted them online for sale at $2.99 each. I also just saw them at FRY's the other day for $1.99 each. They have several boxes there.

HOLY @!#$%!! Is TRU trying to KILL the minifigures or what? I never thought I'd hear myself saying this, but GO WALMART!

Kiss my butt, TRU & Borders! $4.99 for a MINIFIGURE? And kiss my butt, Target, for jacking the price up a buck just 'cause you felt you could!

Unless TRU & Target get themselves back in gear, I'll be making my future minifigure purchases exclusively at the LEGO STORE, thank you very much.

YEP, Fry's Electronics. I guess Lego is going to let everyone play in their reindeer games at this point. They had obviously been picked over but they had gotten in 1 case (2 boxes).

Fry's has been selling Lego since 2005 at least.

Yeah, it's an odd fit but I occasionally find a deal there. As to series 2, I was simply referring to the fact that Lego somehow let nearly every one of their larger chain stores into the Series 2 market after so many of them shut them out for series 1. Can't really blame them, but it will make it even more interesting to see what happens with series 3. Couple the massive interest and distribution with allegedly 'scan-proof' bags and it could be a whole new ballgame in January.
