Using chrome i am getting a warning of malware on FBTB.net

Its not just Chrome. I keep getting it on Firefox too.

Check your root directory for a file named checkmail.php. also check a subfolder (don't remember which) for a file called code-style.pl and any index.php or index.html files. This is probably a base-64 virus and headers will look similiar to this:

I had a bout with this bug a few weeks back. easy fix. replace infected files, remove checkmail.php and update your install to latest.

Seeing this error in Chrome, but not Safari interestingly.

I got it in Safari just this morning. It would pop-up a warning everytime I navigated to ANY page of the site, and wouldn't display that page unless I hit ignore. I couldn't post at all, either, since it gave me th same message when I tried, and when I hit ignore it just went back to the posting screen, having deleted everything I had typed.

i'd like to stress that the suspicious code has been cleansed from the site. but as a precaution i would advise you run any antivirus software you may have.

As far as my Safari is concerned, the site is STILL hosting malware. I can't navigate to ANY page on the site without it stopping me and forcing me to hit "ignore" if I want to continue. And this means I still can't post from Safari, because it loses whatever I typed when I try to post and it gives me that warning. I've had to revert to Internet Explorer to access the site at all normally...

I got this too, but a similar thing happened on another site that ended up with me getting a virus so i just neglected this site for a while.
I blame Blacktron
