Well if WM got them, I've got a feeling that the rerelease at lego stores seems very likely since WM never got these the first time around.

eBay store, contact me if you'd like to perform trades from my inventory. I'm looking for original genosian fighers, second version a-wing fighters and tie bombers. I may be interested in other sets so let me know what you have.

Good point, because on WM's site it also has the little 'new' logo above the name.

Hey, anyone who's gotten one of these since this thread was posted: can you confirm a "2009/2010" copyright date on the box? (as in, last years wouldn't say "2010")

James, I recently ordered a set from target on Sept. 3rd. I was just lucky to go on Amazon and see the price set at 59.99. They sold out in only a few minutes. Just yesterday I received an email from Target to approve a delay in shipping. It's now expected to arrive anytime between now and Oct. 15. It's possible that may mean they're going to be redistributed again in early October, but who knows. Just keep a lookout I guess.

I got mine mid-August from the Amazon deal I managed to finally get... it has the French writing and the (C) is only 2009.

I bought mine from Lego S@H about 3 weeks ago when I got the tip they mysteriously had 8-10 in stock. I checked the box and it only says 2009.

I ordered two from walmart, and they both say 2009 on them. They came in the bilingual boxes.

On a whim, I was checking out FAO schwarz website to see what they had for lego, and they actually had the winter shop for sale (out of stock now). Did anyone see this before and if so, were they available around the same time when amazon, target, and walmart had them available?

FAO Schwartz is now owned by TRU, so I'd imagine they ship out of the same warehouse, etc.

Well, I have been checking amazon in the morning when I get to work, around 8am est pretty regularly over the last month. Tuesday, 9/14 it was up, but I did not get my order placed before they were out again... was pissed! So, checked again, 9/15 around 8:15am est, and they were back in stock. This time I got a set, and looks like they sold out in around 15 minutes.

Anyway, my point, they are still stocking toy shop on amazon. There is an app I was about to install (think it is called buyitlater), but did I not have the correct version for firefox. The app will email you or send you text/tweet you when something is back in stock on amazon. This app is specifically made for amazon, and adds a button to the product pages so you can set up an alert. This might be a good option for those who are tired of checking a page all the time.

A Lego store manager confirmed to me that the 10199, Winter Toy Shop is being re-released with the new winter set this year.

With their volume, I wouldn't be surprised if Amazon's warehouses are staffed 24/7.

Just FYI I asked a shop @ home associate about this and they did not have any info about it being re-released. They said it is possible but if so it will be in the winter catalog that comes out in October.

gee, it sure seems like this WINTER toy shop set suuure is popular with people who celebrate WINTER. i especially like the WINTER tree there in the front, as well as all the WINTER presents and the minifigs singing WINTER carols.
