MOC Madness Regional Pool Play Open For Voting

Postby Staff » Wed Sep 01, 2010 4:31 am

The MOC Madness Tournament is officially underway! A total of 89 entries make up the field of combatants and they've been randomly split into 4 groups for the regional pool round. Taking the top eight from each pool, only 32 will make it to the next round of bracket pairings. Voting is open for the next seven days. View the pools and vote for your favorites!

I was wondering, do you post a reply with your votes or what?

you should be able to vote now. if you see check boxes you're golden. if not then you're doing it wrong.

Wow! Some many great entries, it's often hard to choose only 4 to vote for. It's sad that so many great entries will be eliminated so soon!

Anyway, kudos to all who participated! You all did an amazing job!

Could someone please tell me how to do it right? I do not see any way to cast a ballot.

Right now you can vote for 4 per Region - so 16 total votes per person to help decide who makes it to the brackets. Still, hard choices indeed!

Click each of the four links above. Next to the images there are little boxes - check the box next to each the entry you want to see advance (up to four per poll) and click the submit button below. Simple!

To whoever incorporated those boxes into the poll, they look awesome. It's much better than matching names to entries.

Thanks to all those who put this contest together. Most fun I've had building legos in a long time. Kudos to all those who entered into the contest and good luck. Some very impressive entries.

Aww man, I checked 1 entry in each regional and hit "submit!" like two days ago. I would have loved to pick 16 people :(

Ah no!

Tatooine Regionals 23 entries
Coruscant Regionals 22 entries
Corellia Regionals 22 entries
Ryloth Regionals 22 entries

Right!? Sucks being in the Tatooine Regionals. You/they/we have a slight less chance of making it to the next round. :(

Yep, that extra entry had to fit in somewhere. Not sure what exactly you're representing with your numbers there though... you've got a 1 in 2.875 chance to advance in the Tatooine Regionals vs a 1 in 2.75 chance elsewhere.

Yeah I think we have the same numbers just divided differently (group vs. individual). XD :x Yeah this probably the best/simplest way to deal with such a large number of entries. I can only imagine the work the staff have had to put in to make this happen. Thanks for all you hard work in putting together this contest. 5 :star: 's

I've voted but I am not seeing the results.
Every entry has a red bar with a question mark at the right edge under each photo.
Are the results hidden until the end of voting?

Great job on this FBTB :D
Love the way you laid out all the entries.
It's almost being like Jabba the Hutt and choosing bounty hunters to do your jobs XD
I may need to update some of my photos once my BL order arrives to have a decent chance against so many of these great entries.
