Collectible Minifig Packs No Show @ Toy Fair

Though we don't cover them in detail on FBTB, we all still love our Castle, Pirates, and Space LEGO too.

"There's no 60 figures total in a box and there's no fewer than 3 of any figure in the box"

I copied-pasted this from the QuéLUG forum, which was copied by our Ambassador, Patrick Bégin, from the Ambassador's forum. I'm guessing it's a typo or a bad copy of the text, because I know for a fact that each box will contain 60 packs.

Basically, Steve is saying that the boxes will not be filled randomly. So if you buy a whole box, you get at least 3 of each minifig of that series.

Man, this discussion takes me back to my university days, when me and my friends would buy Magic: The gathering boxes, and have opening parties. "Oh man! We got two Icy manipulators!" I totally see this happening again, buying boxes as a group and opening them all, then arguing about the contents. If each box contains a minimum of 3 each, it will be easy to get all I want splitting a box or two. Should be fun.

Brickset is showing a display case for the minifigs. It looks okay, but I would have preferred a tiered stand.

it would also have been better if it could fit an entire wave of these figs ... 15 spaces and yet 16 figs per wave!

Why does it have a handle at the top, and why are the spaces so big? I'll stick to my brick-built shelves.

Yeah, I've got the robot, although I've been pondering the merits of creating one that has both...

Regarding the bios/skills: how is a circus clown stronger than a cowboy or a spaceman?

The ratings seemed a bit contrived to me, like they were just trying to half-heartedly play into the trading card feel/.

Because he has a larger funny bone. (groans from the audience) Oh, was that not a joke.

I dig that wall paper, Daz, but I have to say, those two figs look like they're enjoying each others' company just a little too much.

I didn't want to be the first one to say it, since Daz put in some nice work...but it does sort of look like a NARSLA poster. That's North American Robot/Spaceboy Love Association.

When will these Minifigs be available in your countries? Here in Germany they are available since Friday. (at least in the Lego Stores).

I had to keep them close together to mask the original minifig that was behind them.

I must admit I never looked at my poster the way you guys did. I'll see what I can do to seperate them more...

EDIT:
There, I changed it.

Tell me what you think.
