Hi Steve,

I have two questions for you (just out of curiosity)....

1) How many people make up the Star Wars division at Lego?
2) What sort of process do you use to decide which ships from Star Wars you would like to design and produce?

If you want some really good information on the design process, I would highly recommend the Lego SW Visual Dictionary. It has a couple of pages devoted to the topic (pgs. 90-91). In fact, way more info than you'll probably ever see in a forum post. The book doesn't have an exact size on the SW team, but in a nutshell, the team has a handful of designers plus various marketing, engineering and documentation personnel.
